The use of Fat to recreate any part of the body of the individual which has lost its sheen is a possibility now with the advent of Fat injection. It requires an extensive procedure than regular tissue fillers. An area is to be determined such as the abdomen or buttocks and then the process of liposuction is used to extract the excessive fat. The suctioned fat can then be transferred to any of the body part. The fat then has to redevelop a blood supply in order to survive. About 50% of the fat injected will survive, and the surviving fat will last forever.
The other alternative term used is known as Fat grafting, also called autologous fat transfer. The tissue thus identified via this process is then processed into liquid and injected into the area to recreate it. Another form that is called lipofilling, has been used for a number of years to fix minor differences in the shape, balance, or position an identified area.
